Rune Stones in AmericaPOST
While traveling around here in the US, we have gone past a few site where runestones have been found. I thought I would post a couple of websites about a handful of them. I hope you enjoy!

Thorn: the thorn Computers crash and planes fall out the skies. That is the nature of things and not always evil in intent. Even good people sometimes cause good people harm. http://www.sunnyway.com/runes/rune_poems2.html Viking Rune Poem Thurs (giant) causes the sickness of women. Rare are those who rejoice in pain. Icelandic Rune poem Thurs (giant) is illness of women and cliff-dweller and husband of Varthrun [a giantess]. Old English Rune Poem ðorn (thorn) is extremely sharp,...

Controversy within the Reiki CommunityPOST
I don't pop onto the forum too often, but saw this and thought I would like to respond. I am a level II Reiki and these are a few of my personal thoughts on your post: - I believe that the attunement is better in person, though the energy work can be done at a distance I feel the effectiveness may dissipate a bit when not performed face to face. - Multiple level sessions seems to me a generally bad idea.  The whole reason for taking the steps is so that there is time for the practitioner to...
Fantastic ProductPOST
Yesterday, as I was wandering around my local supermarket I came across a product that sounded brilliant. It promised that, 'with just one cloth and some water all my cleaning worries would be over.' 'Yeah right.' thinks me. Since I was having to wait behind an old lady, who clearly had no clue what she wanted to purchase, I thought I might as well have a closer look at these miracle cloths.  :P   E-cloths They're called and they're Bl*ody Brilliant I was a Chef in my pre-mother guise and as suc...
Green ManifestoPOST
I think that makes them much more personal as well. I went into my grove when I was looking for materials to make a travel charm and was guided to exactly what I needed. It was lovely.  :D I know that some crystals are mined naturally as it were. Like not using explosives and high pressure hoses and stuff. There are few that are 'found' though I think and for the most part would be well out of my price range and in all honesty I don't really feel the need to use them in my practice. Doesn't...

Yup courses for horses..   I think there's more than one way of mining the crystals, its something definately having a looksee around for! I like the sound of the asda eco thingymajugalies, will have a look out next time i'm there! I like using what you call universal gifts too, its a good way of using the things unique to that particular season you're in. I have a collection of stones I sometimes pick from riverbeds, some I used for a rune set, some I use to carve bindrunes and the li...
Green ManifestoPOST
Finally someone grew a pair    :D Cheers Talizin. We had the same debate about baby butt coverings and personally I'm loving the 'giant groundsheet' proposal.  :D  I buy eco disposables as much as possible but even then you have to way up the odds. There are some factors, like them being the size and consistency of a breeze block with the absorbancy of a flip-flop, which makes some brands just totally untenable. I try to look at availability, cost, absorbancy and biodegr...
Green ManifestoPOST
Good Post!! As Pagans we should automatically be caring for our mother earth. NOT by porporting to 'heal her' with crystals, which presumably have been wrenched from her in the first place by blowing f**king great chunks out of the ground, but by not adding to the s**t we bury in her in the first place. I mean how disrespectful can you get :?:  :!: Nice Rant!!!   :P *pauses for breath* I realise some of you might think this a bit harsh and that's fine, that's the beauty of tolerance but it is my...
