Hi all, thought I'd share this pic of my rune set I made... I harvested the stones from the river Towy (Tywl) in a small village called Rhandirym near Llandovery in S.Wales (with the rivers permission of course!)

I formed the rune markings by first etching then using a permanent marker to make them stand out

Whiteraven, I'm not too sure what advice I could give lol probably just make sure you choose a type of wood that you feel connected too.... i chose the stones from a riverbed coz i love rivers...

Very cool! I really like those. What is funny is that i was thinking about Divination and what form I would show my son. He loves rocks and thought...Hey we will go down to the river and have pick out some rocks. He picks ones that speak to him. He tells me this all the time and then we can make his first set of runes. (I might have to wait a bit to fully explain them to his 6 yr old brain, but I love them runes Tal. Great job and thanks for showing them to me and my son. He loved them. He is already to go now

Brightest Blessings!

Glad you and you son liked them adarian!
Half the fun of making them was finding and picking them from the river bed! :)

I bet  .

Now I am just trying to find the time to go to the river. I am hoping today, but we will see how all these nasty errands I have to do first. I would love so much to just walk in nature

Brightest Blessings!

They look great. I am hoping to make some soon from some wood that my husband got me. We are going to use a wood burner to burn the letters to make them stand out better.
